Schamp is a website dedicated to provide world wide tours virtually, and you can watch its tours at www.schamp.com and I’m proud one of my images taken from Simon Fraser university has been elected for the virtual map of Vancouver, you can see the image here
The script below is a virtual tour you can enjoy online too.

There are surely more artistic and more precise images from SFU, but the reason that my image was selected was that it had Creative Commence License which allows other people to use images while not making money out of that, so it is a good idea if you are using flickr to go to your account and make your pictures CC licensed to be used by others and circulate more widely in the internet.

Yesterday we had a visitor that his impression was that he was among the first people that perform virtually in a chat room with his instruments and he was talking about second life and what they did in that, they performed a concert in Second life, made a film and played games, became a celebrity there and paid (yes, actually he was charged) for bodyguards in virtuall world.
Everyone was astonished and so enthusiatic about where the technology is going, but at the end there was still a question not answered in my min, doing these thing in virtual world for what ?

If you are living in North America and having lots of friends and family outside your city, I’m sure that you always looking for finding some cheaper ways to get in touch with them. I was shocked while reading New York: Iran’s leader can’t visit ground zero ,There is a lot of difference between Iranian president and Leader.There was actually the Iranian president whom is not allowed to pay a visit to location of world trade center and not the leader.
It was awkward to see such a mistakes from huge news corporations such as CNN.

This is my first post in my new blog which is totally dedicated to english, I’m not sure what is going to be put up here but you should expect soemthing related to my work, life in vancouver and …
I was wondering if it is a good idea to buy a domain for this blog or its own url is enough, I called it Sitizen, Software engineer, a cITIZEN and I’m not sure if its going to carve in the english bloggers by typing http://www.sheida.com/en or not ? I’m not so happy about it, the domain name is totally different from what is the name of the blog, but let the time decide upon that.

Have you ever used tags in google reader ? I use them to categorize weblogs that I read, so I have a tag called persian (for example) and there are some blogs under that tag. after reading the newest posts of the blogs, the posts get marked as read but they are will not get vanished from your page; So it raise a problem of not being read for weblogs with the low rate of publishing.
If you have a weblog in one of your tags which publish faster than other blogs, for reading the last post of the blog with low publishing rate you should skip all the posts which you already have read it once, So I make a suggestion for google to make an option in the setting for users to select between vanishing posts after being read or staying at the same place. In this case there are only new and unread posts will remain on the google reader.
