President, not Leader

I was shocked while reading New York: Iran’s leader can’t visit ground zero ,There is a lot of difference between Iranian president and Leader.There was actually the Iranian president whom is not allowed to pay a visit to location of world trade center and not the leader.
It was awkward to see such a mistakes from huge news corporations such as CNN.
