How to help others by taking pictures ?

Schamp is a website dedicated to provide world wide tours virtually, and you can watch its tours at www.schamp.com and I’m proud one of my images taken from Simon Fraser university has been elected for the virtual map of Vancouver, you can see the image here Simonf Fraser University
The script below is a virtual tour you can enjoy online too.

There are surely more artistic and more precise images from SFU, but the reason that my image was selected was that it had Creative Commence License which allows other people to use images while not making money out of that, so it is a good idea if you are using flickr to go to your account and make your pictures CC licensed to be used by others and circulate more widely in the internet.

Copyright

One of the most important part of your digitall life is copyright, if you want to make a site for international users you should always be aware of copyright which in my country (Persia) no one cares about it which makes us less competetive in the information era.
If you check digg.com,  google.com ( for the news.google.com service ), yahoo.com ( for the news.yahoo.com ), bbc.co.uk, nwe york times and economist, you will see that they condemn using any (yes, any) part of their work in your digital (or pinted) work.
New york times say that if you want to publish it you should have a written permission from us, economist, says that no publishing is allowed as bbc, digg is saying that if you think what is posted on their have some interference with your copyrighted article send us documents and they do as much as they can on behalf of yours, banning the user, removing the article and also (if they can) charge the person who made that article, but there is also some penalties if your documents are not enough to prove that you have the copyright.
